Dynamic Material Mechanical Performance Testing
In real-world conditions of cyclic loading, alternating stress, or complex multi-axial loading, the failure mechanisms of materials are distinctly different from static conditions. Dynamic mechanical testing provides in-depth analysis of a material's fatigue life limit and fracture toughness by replicating harsh conditions such as high-frequency vibration and long-term stress cycling. This provides key data support for high-end scenarios such as new energy vehicle safety testing, aerospace component life prediction, and precision machinery durability verification, helping clients achieve a technological leap from "passive protection" to "proactive prediction."
Fatigue Life Testing: Simulates the damage accumulation process of materials under long-term alternating loads through high-cycle and low-cycle fatigue tests, plots high-precision E-N curves and P-S-N curves, determines fatigue limits and fatigue strength coefficients, and supports life modeling for a full range of materials from metal alloys to composites, accurately predicting the fatigue life of materials or components.
Fracture Mechanics Testing: Uses compact tension (CT) or three-point bending (SEB) specimens, combined with Digital Image Correlation (DIC) technology to monitor crack propagation paths in real-time, calculates fracture toughness (KIC, JIC) and crack growth rate (da/dN), accurately quantifies the fracture resistance of materials with defects, provides a theoretical basis for damage tolerance design, and evaluates the crack propagation resistance of materials with defects.
The laboratory is equipped with MTS fatigue testing machines (with temperature and humidity test chambers, high-temperature furnaces, corrosion test chambers), high-cycle fatigue testing machines (with temperature and humidity test chambers, high-temperature furnaces, corrosion test chambers), image dimension measuring instruments, digital universal tool microscopes, metallographic microscopes, scanning electron microscopes, etc. We can provide fatigue performance testing and analysis capabilities for metal materials, composite materials, ceramic materials, etc. We are also equipped with room temperature extensometers, high-temperature extensometers, DIC, and other measuring equipment to meet the strain collection needs of different materials and sizes, and have capabilities for microscopic view and failure analysis.
