Shock Testing
The laboratory is equipped with electrodynamic vibration and mechanical shock test systems for conducting shock tests with common waveforms such as half-sine, terminal-peak sawtooth, and trapezoidal. We also have a pneumatic high-acceleration shock response spectrum test rig and dedicated lightweight and medium-weight shock test stands for shipboard shock simulations. We can perform classical shock (half-sine, trapezoidal, terminal-peak sawtooth, etc.), shock response spectrum, and transient shock (arrested landing, beat frequency (single and multi-frequency), shipboard shock (lightweight, medium-weight) tests.
Half-sine: Max. acceleration 500 g, max. pulse duration 30 ms (up to 20,000 g with a shock amplifier);
Trapezoidal: Max. acceleration 35 g, max. pulse duration 25 ms;
Terminal-peak Sawtooth: Max. acceleration 200 g, max. pulse duration 11 ms;
Shock Response Spectrum: Max. frequency 10 kHz, max. acceleration 50,000 g, rise slope (6-9) dB/Oct;
Lightweight Shock: Max. load 200 kg, max. drop height 1.5 m, max. pendulum angle 90°;
Medium-weight Shock: Max. load 3,400 kg, pendulum weight 1,500 kg, pendulum angle continuously adjustable from 0-180° (limited to 0-160°), pendulum arm length: 1,830 mm.
